I am pleased to announce the launch of AIA, ASIA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION. Previously known as ASA Pacific, the shareholder structure has recently changed, transitioning from a subsidiary of an Egyptian group to an independent company with complete autonomy over its strategies. After working for more than 12 years for Ciment Lafarge (now Lafarge Holcim) in France and abroad, I have built several companies from scratch, including CATII in 1990 and ASA, Asec Automation in 1996. Both became major players in the international market at the time. I started ASA with just 5 people, and it grew to employ 500 individuals by the time I left in 2021. My strategy in the Philippines is to bring a wealth of expertise based on more than 30 years of experience, which has encompassed numerous factory renovations and dozens of new plants established worldwide. Based on my experience, I have come to understand that the long-term success of a company relies heavily on its local presence and on international partnerships that allow it ongoing access to the latest technologies. Our recruitment efforts are centered on young Engineering graduates capable of traveling abroad to extend our presence in the international market.
